The last time I caught a Bleeding Through show resulted in a late night shop to HMV to pick up their album ‘Decleration‘.
Tonight, the opener from that particular album, ‘Finis Fatalis Spei’ rings through the PA before a rallying call of “Tonight we dine in Hell” signals the beggining notes of ‘Decleration’ and the opening of one of the largest circle pits I’ve seen at the Academy !

All new for me this evening – I’ve never heard any of the three bands that are playing, and I’ve never shot at this venue even though it’s closer to home than my usual haunts.
First up tonight is Rolo Tomassi. Opinion seems to be split on them, but they are hugely admired by the underground and that’s enough to interest me – let the evening begin!
Tonights headliners Killswitch Engage are on my top 10 bands to shoot list. I’ve only ever seen the legend that is Adam Dutkiewicz via DVD and I’m itching to get down there and get this on. Thankfully, the band feel the same way as I do !
